Clinical Geneticist and Fetal Medicine SpecialistDr. Tella Sunitha MBBS DMCH(PHD) is a Clinical Geneticist-Fetal Medicine specialist. She focuses on the care, treatment and counselling of all the high-risk pregnant women suffering with the more common and rare genetic conditions such as suspected down syndrome, teratogenicity, advanced maternal age and high-risk pregnant women complications.
Dr. Tella Sunitha clinical interests include prenatal screening and diagnosis and Genetic counselling. She has extensive training and experience performing ultrasound screening,Fetal echocardiogram and diagnostic interventional procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
Her past and current research focuses on first trimester screening, fetal anomalies. Research focuses is on Prevention of Genetic Disorders.
Teaching experience of 15+years in Clinical Genetics offered to PG Diploma & Clinical genetic certificate course students, PG medical, Dental and nursing students.
